Groundbreaking Application of Web-Based Technologies

For All Physically Present Participants

*All practice debates and speeches will be recorded for coach viewing and comment in a restricted environment that is available only to camp participants, not publicly posted on YouTube or Vimeo

*Coaches of the participants and other staff members will be able to offer comments directly on all speeches and debates delivered at the camp in this restricted environment

*We believe that the coaches of all students who attend our institute have something valuable to contribute and we invite them

- To comment, where they feel comfortable, on the posted speeches

- To deliver short video lectures (10 minutes) or so on topics that may interest them as long as they have the technology to record the lectures.

- We invite coaches to participate in virtual lab discussions provided that they have the technology to do so.

*Students will be able to access individual lab discussions by students that are posted online for later viewing

*Students will have the opportunity to interact with Virtual Participants through live lectures, discussions, and progressive upload/download discussions

*All students will get a DVD of their practice debates and speeches at the end of the institute

*Students will have access to all lectures forever via Planet Debate

*Full access to Planet Debate for the two weeks you are at the camp
