Does my coach have to have a recommendation?

When you register, and provide your coach's email, we will send him or her an email and ask for a recommendation.

How do I know what lab I am in?
There are two basic labs - beginners and advanced. We will notify you which lab you will be in after we receive your payment.

Top

How does the instruction work?
Every 2-3 days a new primary assignment will be posted by Alan or Stefan. This will usually involve a reading, listening to a lecture, or a small research assignment. Accompanying the assignment will be a set of questions that test your understanding of the lesson. Both the assignment and the questions will be posted in the appropriate threaded discussion forum for the lab. Students are expected to answer the questions as directed by their workshop director in the forums. Students are responsible for completing their own work and monitoring their own progress.

Do I have to participate every day?
No, you do not have to participate every day, but you should try to do as many of the assignments as possible. The more you participate, the more you will learn. If you are unable to participate for a few days, simply read back through the threaded discussion forums and the assignments when you are able. Supplemental assignments will also be made available for students who have more time.
