This weekend, Andrew Markoff, president of the National Forensic League chapter at the Bronx High School of Science, won his 390th debate round, breaking the thirty-three-year-old win count record of the Bronx Science Speech & Debate Team.

The Medina High School Debate Team has earned charter membership into the National Forensic League, the nation’s oldest and largest debate and speech honor society.

"I've learned so much (from debating) that my advanced placement government is like a breeze," said Greg Scott, a Truman junior who was a semi-finalist in the policy debate regional division.

 Blanco High School teams swept the UIL District 27AA cross-examination debate tournament on Monday, February 8 at the First Baptist Church in Blanco.

The Whitehouse High School CX Debate team competed in the UIL district tournament on Feb. 9. Shiv Rawal and Arjun Rawal placed 4th in district.
