Sherry Hall has coached college debate for 25 years; serving as the co-director of the Harvard Debate Council for 20 of those years.

Stefan Bauschard is one of the original founders of the Harvard Debate Council Summer Workshops, which launched in 2010 and attracted more than 100 students in its first year. In its inaugural year, Stefan oversaw all aspects of the workshop, including admissions, student housing, electronic classroom development, facilities management, and promotion. In 2002, Stefan co-founded PlanetDebate.com, another project of the Harvard Debate Council, that provides instructional and evidence resources for students and coaches in Public Forum, Lincoln-Douglas, Congressional Debate, and Policy. More than 40,000 students and coaches nationwide have taken advantage of its resources. Planet Debate offers the Harvard Debate institutes a synergistic partner that can deliver workshop content electronically throughout the year. Stefan has been an Assistant Debate Coach for Harvard Debate since 2002 and is also the Director of Debate at Lakeland Public Schools in NY. He previously coached debate at Cathedral Prep, the St. Mark's School of Texas, Boston College, and Wake Forest. He worked on the development and design of the Wake Forest workshop curriculum for more than 10 years.
