9:00 am – Morning Assembly/Roll Call
9:15 am – Intro to the Poverty Topic – Stefan Bauschard
10:30 am – Lab Meet & Greet – What is an Argument?
1:00 pm – Collect Questionnaires/Discuss Topic Lecture/Practice Set Discussion/Mini Argument Debates
6:30 pm – Research Lecture – Stefan Bauschard/Brian Manuel
8:00 pm – Pimp Your Browser – Ross Smith
**FOR DORM – All students must read and familiarize themselves with the Starter Set for debates the next day**
Tuesday, June 23
9:00 am – Morning Assembly/Roll Call
9:15 am – Politics & Other DA’s on the Poverty Topic – Alex Lamballe/Karen Harrison
10:30 am – Answering Politics – Ross Smith
1:00 pm – Politics Lecture Discussion/Health Care Politics Discussion
2:00 pm – Speeches Discussion/How to Prepare for Debates/Flowing Exercises
6:30 pm – Starter Set Debate #1 (K’s not allowed) – obtain either Ross/Roger/Wascher to judge
Wednesday, June 24
9:00 am – Morning Assembly/Roll Call
9:15 am – States & other CP’s on the Poverty Topic – Stefan Bauschard/Brian Manuel
10:30 am – The Theory of the States CP – Ross Smith
1:00 pm – States CP wrap up/How our Aff interacts with the States CP
3:00 pm – Library Research
6:30 pm – Cross Examination – Ross Smith
Thursday, June 25
9:00 am – Morning Assembly/Roll Call
9:15 am – Kritik Lecture #1 – (Capitalism, etc) – Jim Schultz
10:30 am – Kritik Lecture #2 – (Biopower, etc.) – jon sharp
1:00 pm – Kritik Wrap-Up/Debating the Cap K
3:00 pm – Prepare for Starter Set #2 Debates
6:30 pm – Starter Set Debate #2 (Must extend the Cap K) - obtain either Ross/Roger/Wascher to judge
Friday, June 26
9:00 am – Morning Assembly/Roll Call
9:15 am - Answering Kritiks 1 (frameworks, permutations, solvency, etc.) – Roger Solt
10:30 am – Answering Kritiks 2 (impact turns, or why civilization, growth, tech, etc are really good) – Ross Smith
1:00 pm – K Answer Wrap Up
2 pm – Proper Citations/Cutting Cards - @ 6:30 pm each lab member must have cut 10 cards
6:30 pm – How to write blocks/Writing Blocks
Saturday, June 27
10:00 am – Morning Assembly/Roll Call
10:15 am – Assessing the Impact of Poverty – jon sharp
1:00 pm – Judge Adaptation/How to Increase Speaker Points/Speaking Drills – Ross Smith
3 p.m. – Affirmative Case Blocking

1:00 pm – Shape of Debate/Winning Rebuttals – Ross Smith
3:00 pm – Discussion of Ross’s lecture and how to execute strategies with the evidence we have.
6:30 pm – Starter Set Debate #4 – Use tips/strategies Ross suggested in lecture
