he Lake Highland Preparatory School team of Danny Welch and Will Miller beat Eagan High School's Iaan Reynolds and Rachel Markon 2-1 to win the Public Forum Division of The Blake High School annual Edie Debate Tournament in Minneapolis. Lake Highland is coached by Mike Wascher and Eagan is coached by Rob Baron, both members of the staff for the Harvard Institute for Public Forum Debate. Lake Highland advanced to finals by defeating New Trier in semi finals while Eagen defeated Lakeview North.
On Sunday, twelves teams competed in The Blake School's Public Forum Round Robin and the Lake Highland Prep team of Welch and Miller defeated the team of Fred Enea and Kelsey Hilbrich from The
